CLICKS (SPC)
- Also known as interlocking LVP, features a locking mechanism that allows the tiles or planks to be clicked together during installation.
- No adhesive is required for installation, as the tiles or planks are locked together.
- This method is typically faster and easier to install compared to glue-down LVP.
- Click floating LVP can be installed over most existing floors, including hardwood, concrete, and tile, as long as the surface is flat and even.
- It allows for easier removal and replacement of individual tiles or planks if necessary.
GLUEDOWN
- Requires adhesive to be applied to the subfloor before laying down the tiles.
- Each tile is individually adhered to the subfloor using the adhesive, creating a strong bond.
- This method provides a very stable and durable installation.
- It is often preferred for high-traffic commercial spaces or areas prone to moisture since the adhesive creates a tight seal.
